Its a green weapon, with set stats. Doesn't matter that those stats may not be good. As noted, there are a lot of greens with BAD stats, much less average ones. I always wanted a green Sword with a Fiery Sword Hilt, 15^enchanted, and +30 health. But is there one?

Just make your own, as the green weapons will NEVER change stats, Anet has more important things to do.

I am so with you on this. I got Murakai's sword, and LOVE the skin ...but Zealous??? I wanted to cry.. Typical game goof up, if it looks good the stats stink. Seems no game gets it right.

If they have vampiric and zealous in gw2, I will not be happy.

Greens aren't rare since they only drop from the boss / eotn chest. Greens are a UNIQUE item that you get from eotn dungeon chests/ bosses. Not rare. As stated, that is why 80% of greens are under 10k.

1.- There are other unique staves with the stats you want.
2.- You can get an Ancient Moss Staff and mod it as you please if you also want the appearance. They drop from the Eldritch Chest.

So, you suggestion is pointless.

There's a ton of absolutely horrible greens out there. Yeah, there are "best" mods in the game, as popularly agreed upon by the community, but there's going to be at least one person out there who wants that Energy +5 while HP<50% or whatever mod. There's bound to be at least one green with the stats you want, so there's no point in buffing green's stats.
